New Request & Deliver Service

You can now request books directly to the Moore Library from the University’s Library Storage Facility!

This new delivery service is still in the pilot stage, but you can now order items from the Library Storage Facility (LSF) directly to Moore Library.

The service is currently only open to members of the University of Cambridge (staff and students).

You can order items using the request function on iDiscover. Look for the term ‘Library Storage Facility (Borrowable)’ in your search results, and simply choose which library you would like to collect the books from (currently Moore, Haddon and UL). If you’re not sure how to request items using iDiscover, please ask a member of the library team who will be happy to help.

Not all LSF items can be ordered this way, but you may be able to order such items to use at the University Library.

This service is still new and being tested and perfected as we go, so please do give us any feedback you may have about using this service.
