Announcement
We are delighted to announce that OpenConCam is back and taking place once more at the Betty & Gordon Moore Library.
Now in it's third year, it will be taking place in the Glass Room from 9:00 - 17:00 on Thursday, 16th November 2017. The room will be prepared for the day's event an hour before the scheduled start time so please make sure to find an alternative place to work if you are not attending. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Event Details
OpenConCam is a satellite event of the international OpenCon which will be held this year in Berlin.
This year's OpenCon theme is "Open in order to..." and the OpenConCam’s theme is "Open for everyone".
The event goal is to support and build the open community in Cambridge, to empower attendees to make a difference in their respective fields through open data, education and access and ensure that that difference is inclusive.
The committee have brought together a great program of speakers but there is also time scheduled for focus group discussion around actions that attendees can take to make a change in the world.
