The Betty & Gordon Moore Library

On Thursday 24 November 2016, the Betty and Gordon Moore Library will, once more, be hosting the annual satellite event of the OpenCon conference.

Everyone is welcome, and the theme this year is "Building Impact Through Openness".

The exciting line up of speakers includes Erin McKiernan, Professor at University of Mexico and Open Scholarship advocate, Duncan Green from Oxfam and Hannah Hope from the Wellcome Trust.

The event will bring together open activists from across the University and surrounding areas (including industry, civil service and research institutes), share the skills and initiatives that are currently underway in Cambridge, and build momentum for change together.

The event runs from 09:30-17:00 in the Glass Room on the lower-ground floor, costs £5, and will include lunch along with morning and afternoon coffee and a delightful wine reception.
