The Moore Library team look forward to welcoming new and returning students for the new academic year.
We’d like invite you to our Induction sessions this Michaelmas term. This will include a tour of the library and its variety of spaces. We will also answer any questions that you might have about using the library.
If you have time, we can provide a brief introduction to using iDiscover, the University Library catalogue.
Induction tours will run from 12th to 30th October, Monday - Fridays at 3pm.
There is no need to book, you can simply turn up.
About us:
The Moore Library is the main STEMM library for Cambridge University and we offer a range of services in the fields of Mathematics, Science, and Technology.
The ground floor area has a range of different study, seating and recreation areas. Elsewhere in the library, we have Study Pods, bookable group study rooms and a quiet and comfy Acoustic Booth for you to work or to hold online meetings.
This Michaelmas, we offer a new service: order books directly to Moore Library from the offsite storage facility! No matter what your subject, you can arrange delivery of books for collection with us.
We also have some excellent literature and popular science collections, and a Study Skills & Wellbeing section.
Can’t make it?
If you can't make any of the above times, do contact the library and we will make time to show you around the library at your convenience, or answer any other questions you may have.
All the very best,
The Moore Library Team
