This free service is provided to allow staff and students, who are currently at Cambridge University, to get remote access to materials held in the Betty & Gordon Moore Library or the Engineering Main Library that is not currently available electronically.

It is a service that aims to deliver documents within a 48-hour time-frame.

Holdings coverage

Users should be aware that the service only covers the holdings of the Moore Library & the main building of the Engineering Library. We are not able to provide scans from material held at any other library within the University, including the main University Library.


  1. The service is for Cambridge University staff and students only.
  2. UK copyright law restricts us to supplying one article or chapter per item. 
  3. Materials published before 1900 and fragile items are excluded from this service.
