The Betty & Gordon Moore Library

Want to bone up on human anatomy? Then come and meet "Bones". Our newest recruit is a quality learning resource made from a durable, synthetic material. We're not 100% sure whether it's a female or male skeleton yet, but s/he has been assembled by hand and has a 3-part skull with individually inserted teeth. S/he weighs close to the realistic weight of a human adult skeleton and is to scale.

* Interesting fact: At birth the human body has 270 bones, but by adulthood it has only 206. Find out why here.
