The Betty & Gordon Moore Library

One of your great ideas from the library user feedback board/form was repeated throughout Michaelmas term: "Can we have some desks to study standing up? Sitting down for too long is bad for circulation".

This has inspired the library's latest purchase and so now you will find four sit-stand workstations placed throughout the library. One on the second floor, one on first and two in the lower-ground area.

Each is fully-adjustable so that library users can work whilst sitting or standing at a comfortable height. We've also purchased some durable, anti-slip, fatigue-reducing mats to go with them.

By each workstation you will find some paperwork including a feedback form, so please do fill that in if you use the workstation - we'd love to hear your views.

Please note: If you would like to move a workstation, to a different part of the library, we do ask that you seek out a member of staff first and they will assist you. Readers should not attempt to move them by themselves.
