The Betty & Gordon Moore Library

Before ordering, please do check the iDiscover catalogue for item availability and be aware of the following:

  • Items held in other Cambridge Libraries (including the Library Storage Facility): The service does not cover these items. Please note: For items held in our own library, we provide a free Scan & Deliver service to Cambridge staff and students - see here for details.
  • 'Temporary Store 2' items: These can be ordered at no charge using this separate electronic form.
  • Service delivery: While we will deal quickly with your request, we then depend on other libraries to supply the item and so cannot guarantee when it will be available.
  • Prices: The University will charge a fee (£5 University Members / £12 Non-Members), per item, through the University’s online payment platform and your request will not be processed until this fee has been paid. If you do not have an account with the University’s payment platform, you will be asked to create one during the payment process.
  • Loans: All items loaned to us will be subject to the restrictions imposed by the lending library. Whilst most will be available for home loan, a few will be for marked for Library consultation only.
  • Copies: Any copies supplied by the British Library will be sent by default as a Secure Electronic Document via DRM Lite and will require a BL OnDemand Account and Adobe Acrobat X or later to be installed. If you would prefer to receive a hardcopy, please specify this in the form.

Before completing the form, please note:

  • Compulsory Fields: These are marked with an asterisk. However, if you do not know all of the bibliographic details of the item you require, please type 'N/A' into the field.

If you have any questions or require any assistance, please e-mail us at moore-ills@lib.cam.ac.uk or telephone us on 01223 768221 or 765674.
